Angel Wreath Merry Christmas Day!

Good morning,

Have you opened up all of your presents and watched the kids go crazy? Merry Christmas to all!

I have a project to share with you all today. I do believe it's quite fitting for today's events.

I have made a Rosette wreath using Rick St. Dennis' "Angel Wreath" digital stamp.

And here is a close up photo:

These Angels are so precious!  Makes me want to keep my wreath up all year! You can find this digital stamp in the Zibbit store click here.

The star was created using glitter paper from Micheal's craft store, and punch. I used a Bigz die to create the Rosette. The letters were cut  from my Cricut machine.

We would love for you to share your wonderful pieces of art that you have create with Rick’s images in our RSD's Facebook group. Rick St. Dennis sends out a monthly newsletter with a freebie image. If you would like to receive his newsletter you can sign up here. We have a monthly contest for the freebie image, here on this blog (Sparkle and Glitter) or the challenge will be held at the AirlessChambers blog. Keep an eye out for the newsletter for all the information.

Have you checked out Rick's Zibbetstore? There are over 600 images! There is something for anyone's taste,  for example: Steampunk, Goth, Dark, Scary, Seasonal, and also Mainstream images. Like I said, something for everyone. A few other places to visit for Rick St. Dennis goodness is in the RSD Gallerie and the tutorial blog, Tuts& Comments. Prince of Christmas

Hi all, Monique here, I've got an AJ page to show you.

I have made some project for the Tuts and Comments blog, and needed parts of the Prince of Christmas for them, so the poor guy has been be headed (twice) and scanned and printed onto a sheet. The original coloured image was still lying around and since it was there I thought I might as well use it.

so here it is
The background is a Gelli plate print, I used Decoart Americana Acrylic paint to make it (colours used : spa blue, wisteria, bahama blue, red alert, snow white)
The snow flakes is a foam stamp.
The senti is from "the Polar Express"

Snowman and squirrel by Heléne

This fortnight Rick is sponsoring Stampin for the Weekend so for that challenge I used the Snowman with squirrel image on a silvery backing paper embossed with a TH die. I love these snowman images, so full of expression and so easy to colour since the shadows are pre-made on the image.

My very first Mermaid

This beautiful mermaid is Eleganza by Rick St. Dennis and can be found here, the bench she is sitting on is a background digi from Make it Crafty and can be found here.
More details are on my blog. Sue x

Jingle Bell Elf

Happy Monday! It’s almost Christmas and I am still enjoying all my red and green. But, alas, all things do come to an end. This will probably be my last Christmas card for Sparkle & Glitter. Now we need to see some spring!

Today I have an art card created with a very handsome little elf. This little character was designed by Rick St. Dennis for I Brake forStamps (IBFS). You can find “Jingle Bell Elf” in digital format or as a rubberstamp in the IBFS store, whichever version you like.

Jingle Bell Elf was colored with Copics. I added some light gold glitter brush marker over the jingle bells. I also added some highlights with green and red glitter brush markers on his shirt garland. I completed the card with several layers of cardstock, designer paper, die-cut corners, and some ribbon.

We would love for you to share your little pieces of art that you create with Rick’s images in our RSD Facebook group. Rick sends out a monthly newsletter with a freebie image. If you would like to receive his newsletter you can sign up here. With the freebie that you receive, we will turn around and have a monthly contest here on this blog, or on AirlessChambers. Just watch out for the newsletter with all the information.

Have you checked out Rick's Zibbet store? There are over 600 images for anyone's taste, from Steampunk, Goth, dark, and then the more sane and mainstream images. Like I said, something for everyone. A few other places to visit for Rick St. Dennis goodness is in the RSD Gallerie and the tutorial blog, Tuts & Comments. These are some places for a lot of inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by. All the links and other detailed information will be on my blog, AJ’s Designs.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Our Door Is Always Open

Hello!  Karen Claus here!  I'm guest DT over at the Outlawz blog challenge today.  This is the card I made for the challenge.  This is a fun combination of two of Rick's Christmas images.  The 2012 Outhouse NOEL and the Santa from the Simply Christmas Digi Sheet.  I added a sentiment from a set that includes a couple sentiments that were created by Paulette from Create With TLC for the Outhouse image.  The sentiment set is called 'Friends At Christmas'.  I added a couple scrap pieces of paper I had laying around, some gems, a bow and a bit of Liquid Pearls.  I snuk the santa n by slicing down the side of the door with a blade and sliding him in.  Super fun!

Don'tcha just love him?  I've always love Rick's Outhouse images!!
